Indian Army - Short Service Commissioned jobs for Nursing Service Women

The Indian Army, Female candidates are invited one who have passed B.Sc. (Nursing)/ Post Certificate of B.Sc. (Nursing)/ M.Sc. (Nursing) in first attempt for grant of SSC in the Military Nursing Service as Nursing Officers.

The Indian Army - Short Service Commissioned Officer – Nursing Female :

No of Post : 400 posts,

Essential Qualification & Experience :

(i) B.Sc. Nursing / Post Certificate B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc.Nursing qualification from a recognised university.

(ii) be a registered, as State Registered Nurse and Midwife.

Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 grade pay Rs. 5400 + Military Service Pay Rs.4200 + Kit allowance Rs. 400 + other allowances.

Age Limit : Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years of age as on 30.04.2010.

Selection Criteria : written test to be conducted at Base Hospital Delhi Cantt in the 1st week of April 2010. Based on the merit in the written test, the required number of qualified candidates will be called for an interview on next day by a board of officers at the office of the DGAFMS, Ministry of Defence, M Block, New Delhi for final assessment and selection for grant of SSC in Military Nursing Service. Candidates qualifying in the interview will be subjected to medical examination on the third day.

SBI - State Bank of India invites applications from Indian citizens for appointment in the Clerical Cadre posts of Control Room Operators (CROs), Armourers and Pharmacists in State Bank Group.

SBI, State Bank of India - Merit list will be drawn up State-wise, category-wise and candidates will be posted in the state from which he/she is applying for the ‘posts’ and will not be entitled for inter/intra-state transfer in the first 10 years of services. However, candidates not getting selected in his/her domiciled state at bank’s discretions may be asked to opt for any other deficit state, if qualifies and called for. Bank, however, reserves the right to utilize their option or not. The Post-wise, Bank-wise, Circle-wise vacancies alongwith their eligibility

1. Control Room Operators: (CROs)

State Bank of India (SBI) | Job Profile of CRO’s - To man the control room in shifts, to take suitable action in case of any emergency on receipt of information, to test & operate the communication systems and other fire, security etc. related equipments provided in the control room, to maintain logbook of activities during the course of his duties and any other job assigned by his controller(s).

State Bank of India (SBI) CRO’s job | Age - Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years

State Bank of India (SBI) CRO’s job | Educational Qualification - Ex-servicemen and State Fire Department personnel with minimum 10 years service in the armed forces or State Fire Services. Ex-Servicemen should be of the rank of JCO or equivalent and of Exemplary character.

2. Armourer : (Reserved for Ex-servicemen)

State Bank of India (SBI) Armourer job | Total - 9 posts

State Bank of India (SBI) | Job Profile of Armourer - Inspection of arms and ammunitions of the branches / offices, carry out minor repairs maintenance of weapons, able to impart training on arms and ammunitions to Bank Guards and other duties pertaining to security activities / posts.

State Bank of India (SBI) Armourer job |  Age - Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years

State Bank of India (SBI) Armourer job | Educational Qualification - Minimum - Pass in Class 10+2 examination or equivalent or Armed Forces certificate equivalent to 10+2

3. Pharmacists

State Bank of India (SBI) Pharmacists job | Total - 35 posts

State Bank of India (SBI) Pharmacists job | Job Profile - All duties attached to Medical Clinic of the Bank as Pharmacist / Compounder, including assisting in clerical work, whenever necessary. Should be able to give first aid treatment independently in accident cases.

State Bank of India (SBI) Pharmacists job | Age - Minimum - 18 years and Maximum -28 years

State Bank of India (SBI) Pharmacists job | Educational Qualifications - Pass in SSC or its equivalent examination and minimum Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) from recognized University or Board. Candidates with degree in Pharmacy will be preferred.

State Bank of India (SBI) jobs Scale of Pay : The CRO’s,Armourer & Pharmacist will be recruited in the clerical cadre. Their Scale of pay will be Rs.4,410/- to Rs.13,210/- (likely to be revised). Total Emoluments payable in a metropolitan city like Mumbai will be approx. Rs.7,200/-. It will vary as per place of posting and percentage of dearness allowance payable from time to time. The selected candidates will be eligible for Leave and other benefits, like LFC/HTC, medical benefits, conveyance allowance and other perquisites will be as per the Bank’s rules.

State Bank of India (SBI) jobs Selection Procedure : The selection of the candidates will be mainly on the basis of short-listing and interviews. However, the Bank may, at its discretion, hold written tests for short-listing and selection. The date of written test (in case of need) will be advised to the candidates by call letters issued to them. The written tests, where applicable, may be held at Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai centres. The Bank, however, reserves the right to add, delete or allot any centre at its discretion. The details of the written test will be advised to the candidates by ‘Acquaint Yourself booklet’ to be sent alongwith the call letter.
