Lakme Fashion Week  India - About Lakme Fashion Week LFW : Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) is a jointly organized by Lakme, the No.1 cosmetics and beauty brand in India and IMG Fashion, global leader in the management and production of fashion weeks and designer fashion events. Lakme Fashion week 2009 will be held on 18th to 22nd September 2009 at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. LFW has been conceived and created with a vision to “Redefine the future of fashion and Integrate India into the global fashion world”. LFW is organized twice annually.

1)Nicole Faria : A dusky beauty from Delhi. She is 5′8″ and she sure can carry a bikini!

2)Anderson S : The hunky guy all the way from Brazil, He is 6′1″ tall and is sure to have the looks - ladies are you ready ?

3)Alina Galushka : Ukrainian Alina is currently based in Delhi. She is 5′10″, and all set to sizzle in Lakme Fashion Week Mumbai this season.

4)Sunny Kamble : Sunny is from Amachi Mumbai. He is 6′ and has a well-chiselled body. Just what you would order!

5)Karishma Tanna : She is 5′10″, a television actress, from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Karishma Tanna will be making her debut on the catwalk in Lakme Fashion Week Mumbai 2009.

6)Pravesh Rana : What a looker. HE is 6′2″ and walked away with three of the most coveted titles at the pageant — Mr Best Body, Mr Talented and Mr Groovy Voice.

7)Mirjana Bozovic : She is 5′11.5″. Mirjana is a beauty pageant winner. A stunner represented her country at the Miss World 2007 contest.

8)Bharat Arora : A television actor from Mumbai, acted in daytime soaps like Kahin Toh Hoga and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and has also endorsed popular brands like Hutch and Mountain Dew. HE is 6′2.5″, he has also modelled for prominent Indian designers, but will be seen at the LFW for the first time.

9)Lidia Souza : Yet another girl from Brazil, Lidia is 5′7.5″ tall and exudes a very waif-like, innocent appeal.

10)Siddharth Rawal : Siddharth is a Mumbai boy. He is 6′, ready for his debut on the catwalk in Lakme Fashion Week Mumbai 2009.

11)Poppy Jabbal : Poppy is 5′9″. He is one of the Gladrags MegaModel 2009 contestants. He is also from Mumbai.

12)Sangram : And finally, we have Delhiite Sangram. He is 6′1.5″ frame gets quite a lot of workouts!

Ana Singh - a famous designer of the fashion and film industry, launched her new Designer Store in the first week of September, 2008 at Turner Road, Bandra (W), next  to Croissants.

The highlight of the store is stunning signature print dresses and Indo-Western tops along with beautiful accessories. It also has some funky menswear line. The collection has a limited range of Indian outfits and some Swarovski encrusted sarees.

The vibrant colored dresses and chic clutches, jewelry, belts that mostly cater to women rather loaded women. The collection starts approximately from 12,000/- onwards. The fabric used in the collection is imported and has some unique prints. The bright floral satin dresses are to die for. It is a high end fashion store but I guess people in Bandra would be willing to buy from the collection for the unique style, look and fit.
