FabIndia, as the name suggests, is fabulous and is designed keeping indigenous fabrics of India in mind. The artisans who work for FabIndia are all instructed to create products by the hand as much as possible. Products in FabIndia stores all over the country are sourced from rural areas spread pan India. The first store was set up in Delhi in 1960 and the brand has grown from being a mere export house to a retail giant. The first store in Mumbai came up at our very own Bandra at Pali Hill. Around the world, FabIndia has stores in Bahrain, Doha, Italy and UAE.

FabIndia has been awarded the Best Retail Brand of the year” (Industry choice award), as well as for the “Designer Promoting Indian Craft or Technique” (Hall of Fame award) for the year 2008.

Personally, I like FabIndia products as they are not only comfy but also last a very long time. The quality of the cut and the materials used are of the highest standards, no wonder FabIndia attracts a lot of international appeal. The cost of FabIndia garments is also affordable and the designs, prints and colours used are most alluring. What makes them really stand out are the printed patialas and shalwars that come in all colours and sizes.

FabIndia also caters to plus size women and men. They have apparel that is sized XXL 1, 2 and 3, meant for the really humungous.

Watch out for their Khadi promo at the Pali Hill store this month. Happy days are here again!!!
