CET Notification of B.B.A. / B.C.A / B.B.M.(I.B.) Courses

University of Pune Common Entrance examination (CET) for the Admission to B.B.A. / B.C.A / B.B.M.(I.B.) Courses for the Academic Year 2010-2011.

University of Pune is going to conduct a common entrance examination (CET) for admission to 1^st year B.B.A. / B.C.A / B.B.M.(I.B.) Course for 2010-2011. Admission to these courses will be made by the college on the basis of merit list prepared as per the result of this test.

University of Pune CET Eligibility :

The candidate must have passed any one of the following examination.

-         Higher Secondary School certificate (10+2) or it’s equivalent examination with English as one of the subject.

-         Three years Diploma course after S.S.C. i.e. 10^th Standard, of Board of technical Education conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or it’s equivalent.

-         Two years diploma in pharmacy after H.S.C., Board of Technical Education conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or it’s equivalent. Or

-         M.C.V.C.,

University of Pune CET Reservation :

50% Reservation for S.C., S.T., D.T.N.T. and O.B.C. and 3% seats reserve for physically handicapped persons as per Govt. of Maharashtra rules.

Those candidates who have appeared for any of the above mentioned examination in 2010 and whose result is awaited are also eligible to appear for the test.

Candidates who have to fill online forms and draw the hard copy of the same and send it to the Deputy Registrar, Academic Section, University of Pune, Ganeshkhind, Pune 411 007. Please enclose attested copy of mark sheet or admit card of 12^th Standard or equivalent examination along with the hard copy of application form.

University of Pune - Fee for the examination is Rs.250/-, which is to be paid by D.D. and send along with the copy of the downloaded application form. Before beginning the process of online submission, candidate must have details of the D.D. drawn towards examination fees such as Name of Bank and Branch, D.D. No. etc. candidate must draw D.D. from any Nationalised Bank payable at Pune, In favour of ” The Registrar, University of Pune”. Please mention on the envolope “Application For  B.B.A. / B.C.A / B.B.M.(I.B.) Entrance Exam 2010-2011. Candidates are requested to write their name and form No. on the reverse side of D.D.

University of Pune CET Date of Opening of Web-site : 18^th march, 2010, 11.00a.m. onwards

Last date for online submission of the application on University of Pune CET Web-site : 18^th April,2010, upto 6.00p.m.

Last date by which the hard copy along with the D.D. must reach to the Deputy Registar, Academic Section, University of Pune. 20^th april, 2010.

DA IICT UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM

B Tech (Information and Communication Technology)

DA IICT Eligibility:- Candidates should

· Be a pass in the 12^th standard or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Computer science.

· Be born on or after 01 October 1985.

· Appear in AIEEE 2010 examination being conducted by CBSE on 25 April 2010.

· Submit a separate application to DA-IICT in the prescribed Application Form.

DA IICT Selection Process:- short listed candidates will be called for counseling at DA-IICT and selection for admission will be based on the All India Rank of AIEEE 2010. Details are available at DA-IICT website.

A limited number of seats will be offered through a separate channel called ‘Direct Admission of Foreign and NRI students’ (DAFS) to Non Resident Indians, Foreign Nationals and persons of Indian Origin.

How to apply to DA IICT:- the DA-IICT Application form will be made available through the following channels:

· At selected Branches of Axis Bank (formerly UTI Bank).as given below, by paying Rs.1000/-

· Sending a demand draft of Rs.1050/- to the Institute. The draft should be in favour of DA-IICT and payable. at Ahmedabad.

· Apply online at www.daiict.ac.in by making an online payment (through credit card) of Rs. 1000/-.

DA IICT Scholarships: DA-IICT offers merit and merit-cum-means scholarship for B Tech students. In each category upto five students are awarded scholarship equivalent to full tuition fees.

Or equivalent

· A minimum 60% (except M Des for which it is 55%) marks at the bachelor’s level are required . Please see details at the website.

DA IICT How to apply: a candidates can submit an application either online (preferably) or offline. The application fee is Rs. 1000/- (online) and Rs. 1050/- if a candidate downloads the form and sends the hard-copy. In both cases, the draft needs to be sent by courier/registered post.
