Job Description :
Must have headed procurement worth Rs. 80-90 crores per year involving components, accessories from OEM’s, sub-contractors and Vendors.
Must have developed vendor plans to increase the number of potential vendors
Improve the benefit plan for payment from company as well as well as vendor’s perspective.
Strong vendor relationship management.
Ability to source from across the country.
Possess sound knowledge about steel, other metals, valves, motors, electrical switch gears and C&I vendors
Must have exhibited measurable targets while aligning cost reduction through proper vendor development and vendor management.
The candidate should exhibit leadership traits
The candidate should have open positive attitude, goal oriented, flexible and be able to work on his own initiative.
Should have the will and intention to work and adapt to Wipro standards and procedures.
The ability to communicate and work with persons at different levels is essential.
