This is a sales quota carrying role which will be rewarded by sales compensation.
The Service Provider Virtualisation/Cloud/Data Centre PSS will be required to establish and maintain relationships with Data Centre decision makers focused on Server, Application, Operating System and Server Virtualisation architectures and specialist partners outside of Cisco’s normal sphere of influence. The role will require fostering of new business relationships and development of co-operative sales models related to the virtualisation, Cloud and automation of Data Centre computing resources (servers, operating systems, applications and storage). This role will also work closely with the Cisco Service Creation team in building new Cloud based xaaS business models for Service Providers.
In this position, the successful candidate will be facilitating the success of Cisco sales teams in selling Virtualisation/Cloud/Data Centre Centre solutions to Service Providers, with measurable sales objectives for the regions you support. The ideal candidate will be quick to identify and qualify opportunities, able to manage people, strategise engagements and prioritise activities. A highly-skilled trusted advisor and mentor to salespeople, committed to improving the competency of the team.
This position will require travel within the regions you support.
