Job Description :
Major Areas of Responsibilities
Supply Chain of Consumer Products:
Demand Planning Planning product wise quantities against the export order forecasts according to budgeted inventory norms and transit time etc.
Procurement Planning Allocating indent quantities to more than 10 vendors according to their capacity and constraint.
Allocating day to day adhoc indents, strong follow up for supplies and dispatch information to the warehouse.
Manage vendor problems as they are small scale industries and lacking skillful personnel.
Costing of Consumer Products :
Preparing and updating monthly BOM, detailed costing of all the products for controlling purchase prices, value engineering for cost savings and deciding purchase prices.
Vendor / Product development and Packing design development for better look and ensuring weight & measurement requirements of the products.
Taking up Quality issues and feedback from vendors and Debit / Credit notes on vendors.
Developing POS for adding sales team and build brand / product awareness.
Export / Import Coordination:
Certification for exports to various countries as well as develop the vendor base with the required certifications.
LC application, Correspondence with vendors, export / import requirements, accounting transactions and follow up till receipt of the material.
