Staff Selection Commission invites recruitment 2011 of Constable (General Duty) in Central Police Organizations in the pay scale of Rs. 5200 – 20200 + GP Rs. 2000. Age limit is 18-23 years. It is the first time that common recruitment exam is conducting for recruitment of Constable in CPOs through SSC.
There are 49,070 tentative vacancies of Constables (General Duty) in BSF, CISF, CRPF & SSB. SSC written test will be held on 5th June 2011 for candidates qualifying in physical standard/PET and about 5000 vacancies in ITBP and Assam Rifles for which written test will be held on 1st May 2011.
REQUISITION FOR VACANCY – FORMAT AND HOW TO COMPLETE IT
PROFORMA FOR SENDING REQUISITIONS FOR SELECTION POSTS
( TO Â BE Â SUBMITTED Â IN Â DUPLICATE )
Kindly note the following instructions before filling up the format : -
I. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is making recruitment of Group ‘C’ (Non-Technical) Posts and
Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) Posts where the maximum of the scale of pay is less than Rs. 10,500/-.
II. The requisitions for Group ‘C’ posts may be sent to the concerned Regional/Sub-Regional Office of the Staff
Selection Commission in accordance with the place of initial posting.
III. The requisitions for Group ‘B’ posts may be sent to the Secretary, Staff Selection Commission, Block No.
12, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003.
IV. Kindly go through the ‘GUIDILINES FOR FILLING PROFORMA FOR SENDING REQUISITIONS TO SSC’
V. Each requisition is to be accompanied by the following documents:-
a. A copy of the notified recruitment rules (Bi-lingual) with GSR number.
b. A copy of the laid down duties and responsibilities attached to the post.
c. A copy of the No Objection Certificate obtained from the Central (Surplus Staff) Cell of the Department
of Personnel & Training in accordance with the CCS (Redeployment of Surplus Staff) Rules, 1990
notified vide DOPT Notification No. 1/14/89-CS.III dated 28.2.1990 and DOPT Letter No. 1/5/2000-
CS.III, dated 10.11.2000.
d. A certificate to the effect that clearance has been obtained from the Screening Committee of the
Administrative Ministry, in accordance with the DOPT OM No. 2/8/2001-PIC, dated 16.5.2001, for
filling up of the vacant post(s)
e. A certificate in accordance with DOPT OM No. 36035/19/99-Estt(Res), dated 17.9.1999 in order to
ensure compliance with the provisions of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection
of Rights and Full Participation) Act,1995.
