Job Profile for the Tata Communications Job :

Responsibilities
The incumbent shall be expected to :
Ensure that the statutory obligation at each Jurisdiction applicable to the group entities with regard to Transfer Pricing is identified and understood.
Ensure that there is a documented Global Transfer Pricing Policy in place for implementation in each of the group affiliate entity and proper documentation is maintained in respect of the transactions of the respective entities.
Ensure that the Associated Enterprises are identified and listed out. Ensuring that the list is periodically updated.
Ensure that there is an approved transfer pricing implementation process with identified deliverables to ensure that each group entity complies with the applicable transfer pricing regulations in its Jurisdiction.
Ensure the process is communicated to the various employees who are responsible to implement the same.
Monitor the actual transfer pricing compliance happening at each entity level is; take timely periodical corrective steps as necessary
Ensure that necessary entries arising from transfer pricing requirements are correctly reflected in the Books of Accounts of the respective entities.
Ensure that wherever case is selected for Assessment appropriate submissions along with supporting documents are filed. Also able to represent before the tax authorities on need basis.
Ensure that wherever there is any audit objection arising from tax assessments happening from the Revenue authorities, the impact of the outcome of the audit is assessed, Management is fed with information to decide on appeals, if so decided appeals are made to the right forum at the appropriate time and follow up to a favourable solution to the group entity is made.
Measure the risk and benefit expected from tax positions, the probability of the same and report the same to the Tax Accounting sub-function after approval.
Ensure that the existing Transfer Pricing Policy as well as the Processes are reviewed on a periodical basis with a view to ensure updation and efficiency.
Ensure MIS reporting
Ensure Sox related controls pertaining to Transfer Pricing are effective and adhered to.
Assist with regard to Transfer Pricing related planning.


Requirements for the Tata Communications Job
