Assistant Commandants (a) General Duty (b) General Duty-Pilot (b) General Duty (Pilot/ Navigator) (c) Assistant Commandant CPL Holders for Short Service Commission appointment (d) Assistant Commandant Women (General Duty) for Short Service Appointment and (e) Assistant Commandants Technical (mechanical/electrical branch) in the Indian Coast Guard.
Eligibility:
(a) Born between July 1,1986 to June 30,2010 male graduate in any discipline with maths and physics upto class 12 (b) Born between July 1,1984 and June 30,1992;male candidate passed bachelors degree with physics and mathematics during graduation and not failed Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) (c) Born between July 1,1984 to June 30,1992;unmarried male/ female,class 12 passed or equivalent and possess current commercial pilot licence on the date of submission of application (d) Degree of a recognised university with maths and physics as subjects upto class 12;female unmarried,born between July 1,1986 and June 30,1990 (e) Born between July 1,1981 and June 30,1990;only males with a degree in naval architecture/ mechanical/ marine/ electrical/ telecommunication and electronic /design/ production/ aeronautical engineering/ or equivalent qualification.Details of physical and medical standards on website.Shortlisted candidates will be called for preliminary selection test/ interview at Kolkata,Vishakhapatnam,Kochi,Mumbai,Chennai,Port Blair,Noida.Preliminary Selection Boards (PSB) consist of general mental ability test (verbal and non-verbal ) in which candidates are tested for general awareness,general intelligence and reasoning,and stage I test for screening the candidates.Final Selection Board (FSB) at Chennai,Mumbai and Coast Guard Selection Board (CGSB),Noida consists of psychological test,group testing and interview (personality test).
