ELIGIBILITY Students enrolling for Technical Writing and Creative
Writing programs should be:
-Graduate* with English as one of the core subjects OR
-Graduate from a college with medium of instruction as
English OR
†10 or 12 grade passed from an English medium school.
Students appearing for the final year of their graduation
examination may also apply. (Subject to graduation within
timeline specified by SCDL.)
ELIGIBILITY For Diploma in Creative Writing in English Age above 16 years or 12th standard pass from an English medium school (Students enrolling for programs in creative writing should also have a genuine aptitude for imaginative writing.)
HOW TO APPLY
For Prospectus & Application form, please contact SCDL at newadmissions@scdl.net during the enrollment period. SCDL prospectus and application forms are available at SCDL offices in Pune, Nasik, Bangalore and select Axis Bank branches nationwide, on payment of Rs. 1000/- by cash or Rs. 1100/- for receipt of prospectus within India or US$ 75 / Rs. 3600/ – for receipt outside India.
IMPORTANT DATES
Walk-in admission : On all working days till 17thJuly 2010 from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Saturday.
Last date of submission of application form (by post) for admission to all other programs along with registration fees so as to reach SCDL 17th July 2010.
Last date for submitting 1st Installment of program fees so as to reach SCDL : 24th July 2010.
Last date for applications for change of program so as to reach SCDL : 31st July 2010.
Last date for applications (in prescribed format only) for cancellation of admission and fee refund for all programs so as to reach SCDL 3rd September 2010.
Last date for submitting 2nd Installment of program fees so as to reach SCDL : 24th September 2010
Last date for applications for change in Specialization so as to reach SCDL : 8th October 2010
Last date for all documents to be received by SCDL for admission confirmation of provisionally admitted students : 22nd November 2010
Last date for applications for Additional (dual) Specialization (applicable for PGDBA & PGDIM program only) so as to reach SCDL 17th December 2010
Students admitted after 1st September 2010 will be considered as late admissions. Late admissions beyond prescribed time-line may be given with the Director’s approval only. Late admitted students are required to pay the prescribed fees for the program they have enroled in full, (i.e. 1st & 2nd installments together) and they will not be eligible for any kind of refund of fees or change of Program / Specialization.
Prospectus and Registration fees are non-refundable. Any judicial dispute would be subject of Pune jurisdiction only. Prospectus sale is subject to availability. SCDL is an autonomous institute. All SCDL programs are autonomous.
