PESO Requires Accounts Officer –  Apply Before 11th May 2010
PESOÂ Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization invites application for the following post on promotion/transfer on deputation basis:
PESOÂ Accounts Officer-Post-1:
Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4,600 (Revised) (Prerevised Rs. 7,450-225-11,500).
Age: Max 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.)
Eligibility:
Officers under the Central Government holding analogous posts on a regular basis; or with 5 years regular service in,posts in tbe Pay Band-2 Rs.9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4,200 (Revised) (Pre-revised Rs. 5500-175-9000) or equivalent.
Qualification:
i) A pass in tlie SAS or equivalent examination conducted by any of the organised accounts departments of the Central Govemment;
ii) Successful completion of training in the Cash and Accounts work in the ISTM or equivalent and possessing two years experience in cash accounts budget work.

Applications together with (i) vigilance clearance certificate, (ii) integrity certificate, (iii) attested co,pies’of up-to-date character rolls of the last five years of the officers who are eligible and who would be spared in the event of their selection maybe forwarded through proper channel to The Chief Controller of Explosives, Petroleum a~d Explosives Safety Organisation, Block (A), Fifth Floor, C.G.O. Complex, Seminary Hills, Nagpur-440 006, within 60 days from the pUblication of thisadvertisement. While forwarding the applications, it may be verified and certified that the particulars furnished by the officers are correct.

Notes:
1. The Departmental Accountant with 10 years’ regular service in the grade will also be considered along with outsiders and in case he/she is selected for appointment to the post, same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion. The Departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration forappointment on deputation. Similarly deputationist shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion (Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same. or some other Organisation/ Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
2. Applications received after the last date or without character rolls or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered.
3. The candidates who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently.
