Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies - Established in 1971 as Symbiosis International Educational Centre, the primary objective was to promote international understanding through quality education. Today Symbiosis is a family of thirty four academic institutions spread over nine campuses in and around Pune. It draws students from all states of India as well as international students from over sixty different countries in the world. The Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning has about one lakh students studying for the Distance Education programmes.
