Harishchandrachi Factory - (India’s official entry for the Oscars) is a light-hearted Marathi movie. Harishchandrachi Factory is based on the efforts of Dadasaheb Phalke, father of Indian cinema to make his first movie. Harishchandrachi Factory will release tom - January 29th 2010.

Co-produced by Paprika Media and Mayasabha Production, the Dadasaheb Phalke’s story is the directorial debut of Paresh Mokashi. Starring Nandu Madhav and Vibhawari Deshpande in the lead.
Harishchandrachi Factory Storyline : Harishchandrachi Factory talks about the beginning of the Indian film industry (1914). Its about a stuggle of a family to survive. Dadasaheb Phalke (Nandu Madhav) decides to make his own silent motion picture and the movie is about how the family and the unit members whole heartedly supports him. The hard work finally pays and the movie becomes a super success. That’s the beginning of one the world’s biggest film industry- Bollywood.
