Job Description of the Standard Chartered Bank Job :

Standard Chartered Bank Job-Key Roles & Responsibilities
- To ensure quality of the credit portfolio as defined by Group, credit policies and business strategy, and that the reporting of the information relating to that portfolio is timely and accurate.
- To proactively instill a strong credit culture by setting the highest standards and demanding that these are maintained by others.
- Approve proposals falling within own discretion and support proposals which require approval outside those discretions.
- Approve breaches of Credit Policy and to the extent permitted by the Group Credit Policy Statement, breaches of Group Credit Policy.
- Participate in policy and process committees as necessary
- Be involved in risk Due Diligence as required
- Monitor compliance with credit policy and business strategy.
- Working with other units in identification and managing up impaired accounts to maximize recoveries and minimize losses.
- Undertake regular customer visits, which will involve international travel to keep abreast of market developments.

Standard Chartered Bank Job Qualifications & Skills
- 6 to 10 years of experience in banking with experience in Financial Institutions business as a Credit Analyst / Business Team Leader or Credit Approver or a combination. Deal Structuring experience will be preferred.
- Effective collaborative skills that contribute to positive working relationships with counterparts
- Flexibility to work across different transactions and situations globally, and change priorities at short notice.
- Demonstrates ability to think objectively and ¿think outside the box¿ when analyzing issues and recommending / developing recommendations.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and objectivity.
