Job Description of the Morgan Stanley Job
The candidate will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide spectrum of responsibilities in various Treasury disciplines and projects, including funding desk execution, bank relations, business units’ coverage, capital / liquidity planning and liquidity risk management.
Morgan Stanley Job Requirement
• Post Graduate in business, finance or other related disciplines
• A minimum of 4-5 years of related work experience in a top-tier financial institution, with a deep understanding of Treasury funding activities, capital planning and liquidity management
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and well versed in corporate finance concepts
• Highly motivated individual, excellent team player, strong appetite to learn and adaptable in a dynamic environment
• Chartered Accountant a plus
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Excellent judgment and communication skills, can work independently
Morgan Stanley Job Skills Required
Major Responsibilities
• Day-to-day liquidity management of the various entities in India as per MS’ global Treasury policy
• Assist in managing Firm’s funding requirements and refinancing risk via a variety of funding sources
• Assist in planning and executing capitalization and cash recycling /dividend repatriation in coordination with local/global colleagues, to efficiently manage cash
• Assist in assessing business plans, communicate and interact with business units to offer the optimal Treasury solution
• Help set up/negotiate bank lines with various banks and the associated documentation
• Liaise with rating agencies for managing the debt program
• Participate in or lead ad-hoc local, regional or global projects
• Handle day-to-day local and regional Treasury reporting

• Located in Mumbai, the candidate will be part of the Asia Treasury team which has offices in HK, Mumbai and Tokyo. The candidate will have a direct reporting line in the Treasury team in Mumbai.
