Job Description :
The candidate will be based in one of our agency offices in Mumbai reporting to the Group Chief Accountant. The principal responsibility of the candidate will be overseeing the working of the Accounts department. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing financial policies and procedures & MIS reports; Principal Accounting, monitoring disbursements and remittances, banking operations, accounts finalization, budget preparation and monitoring, cash/fund flow management, statutory compliances, taxation and interaction with external agencies like auditors, tax officials etc. Training the existing accounts staff, development of accounting systems and knowledge base of employees would make up the job responsibilities.
