Job Designation : Head - Direct Sales (Mumbai)

Qualification : Any Graduate, MBA/PGDM

Job Description :

He shall be responsible to manage the sales operations of Mumbai region. The key role would be ensuring team productivity and achievement of overall new sales target from the region. The person would execute and monitor the recruitment, training and expansion of the sales team.

Experience:

7-10 years of industry experience.
Last three years of experience in managing multi-location sales team of 150 to 200 people within a successful direct marketing / space selling / insurance / services organization.

Candidate Profile:
Have strong team building & management ability, leadership ability and persuasive communication skill.
Should be self driven and focused on producing results.
Must be process oriented, IT savvy & proficient in using Microsoft Office/Open Office Tools.
Basic understanding of concept selling and in depth understanding of direct selling.

Job Profile:
Conducting daily huddles and drills with the sales team & aggressively drive the sales managers and their team members to achieve the sales target.
Closely monitor daily sales figures, appointments, conversion percentage and timely intervention for correction of any deviations.
Qualitative analysis of individual executive’s sales activities in terms of calling, fresh meetings, follow up meetings, cold calls and reference generation to find reasons for variations in performance and take corrective measures.
Ensuring the adherence of sales process and internal procedures by team members in matters related to client meetings, internal meetings, reporting systems and individual deliverables.
Monitoring successful delivery of all orders within the stipulated timeframe, tracking accounts receivables, customer complaints and work in process.
Periodic visits to local offices to meet, monitor and audit the activities of sales team.
Impart regular trainings to team members for skill improvement.
Proactively employ lead generation tools through data mining, data segmentation, churning of existing data and regular supply of new data.
Collecting market feedback and assisting management in formulation of policy & strategy.
