Tiger Woods | Another one bites the dust!
I think with the American economic scene, even the social scene is crumbling. Tiger Woods, the quintessential successful American, has also bitten the dust as one affair after another comes out of the bag.
So, what went wrong with this highly talented person? Did the fame and easy money get to his head? Was he dissatisfied with his wife? Or are people and females especially, just jealous and expressing their envy at him? But seriously, so many females can’t be wrong!
It just reminds me of the horror stories of Anand Jon, who rose to stardom as a fashion designer, only to die a slow and gory social death.
Why does fame and adulation get to people’s heads so easily? When you’re at the top of your heap, why is it so hard to keep out of controversy? Why is it so damn hard to keep it straight and lead a normal life? I think that controversy and notoriety are the occupational hazards that men in the fast track have to deal with. But the saddest part is that they brought all the trouble onto themselves. Tiger could’ve refused so many girls and led a normal life, but he chose to be different, controversial, cheap, and sadly, an infidel.
I think that his wife must have the basic intelligence to sense that something’s amiss; right from the start, but the saddest people will be his children, who will have to face difficult concepts like infidelity, cheating, bigamy and grow up hard. Why, Tiger? You sure are not a babe in the Woods anymore!
But some opportunists will see this tragedy, as it really is, as a reason to make more money. Authors will write books, directors will make money, and another star’s life would have been exploited. What makes such star performers such poor strategists?
Woods had everything going for him, but he chucked it all away. Is this the greatest example of masochism, a twisted mind and contortions of reality?
