Tata Communications job Responsibilities-
• Responsible for 2nd & 3rd Line support, monitoring system availability, dealing with problems raised by the client within the trouble ticketing system. Tracing application level problems from within database tables, UNIX log files, browsing through shell scripts and PL/SQL code, and providing fixes or commenting on technical solutions to problems where possible.Communicating daily with users, testers, managers, client and operations for support.
• Understanding and prior experience in telecom process / OSS Support & development (e.g. inventory management, order management, fault management, performance management).
• Maintain credibility with users,business customers and senior leaders by establishing strong relationships with Business, Operations, Engineering and other IT groups within our organization, coaching and driving improved communication of the Operations Support vision and the respective needs and issues.
• Assess issues and risks related to operational system architecture and infrastructure & provide inputs to planning / deployment teams for the most effective solution architecture from Operations & support perspective.
• Define and maintain the vision and guidelines for enabling and Supporting software architecture in OSS/BSS, Integration, Data, Application and Infrastructure domains.
• Solid understanding of up-to-date architecture concepts and system integration principles (TOGAF, SOA, J2EE, OSS etc.)
Tata Communications job - Requirement
• 7+ yrs of experience in supporting large clients in a 24/7 remote infrastructure management center & having OSS/BSS/Telecom experience in Operations, Engineering or IT Architecture is required.
• Knowledge in ITIL process framework
• Certification /Exposure to any one of the Databases ( Oracle / MySQL/ DB2) would be an added advantage.
• History of supporting, developing and integrating cross-functional systems is required.
• Use of MS Project & Visio is desirable
