FCPs: The new age malaise!
Female chauvinist pigs are on the rise and the whole world is reacting to it. No wonder marriages are breaking down as the balance between the male and female counterparts has literally been thrown out the door.
Now, females, mistakenly the liberal ones, want to knock their hubbies around, wear the pants in the house, dominate and abuse their partners! I know of some females who also beat and physically abuse their husbands. Sorry state of affairs to be in.
But the delicate balance of marriage is slowly but surely depleting. One has to ask, why is this trend taking place? Why do females want to act like males and why is the role reversal so important to women?
I think that if you value freedom more than ties that bind, if you are not accommodative and adaptive, if you want to constantly feed your ego, then you’re better off living alone. I wonder why such women get married in the first place.
I feel marriage is about striking the right balance between 2 people. There has to be so much understanding, faith and adaptation, that things should just run smoothly in the household, but sadly, that is not the present case scenario.
Perhaps women want to express something but are not able to identify what exactly it is that is bothering them. Perhaps women just want to express the inability to cope at their men and have sadly accepted that they are second best. Perhaps women have failed as multi taskers and hate to admit that they can’t do without their counterparts. It could be all these reasons and more.
If I were ever to get married, I would try my level best to make things work, including improving my condition, so that my partner is not ashamed of me, work hard at understanding his needs, desires and wants, hand it to him when he wins, even if it is most of the times, and most importantly, put my ego aside. I’m no where close to getting married, but I would expect a smooth run instead of a battlefield arrangement.
