Tata AIG Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for application solution analysis, design, project implementation, code review, team mentoring, team skill enhancements, application development and support issues as per SLA. The candidate would be required to manage a team of outsourced staff in developing and supporting production issues, providing adhoc reports and maintaining applications on .NET and MSSQL 2008 platform. This role includes analyzing issues raised by internal stakeholder, perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fix. Need to understand new projects being implemented in production and align support resources accordingly.
Technical:
• Strong technical expertise in MSSQL2005/2008, .NET2005/2008
• OLTP and OLAP schema design and construction
• Report development
• Object Oriented development techniques
• Experience in developing object-oriented applications is required
• Experience with implementation of complex logical database designs and relational database concepts.
• Database system troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Database configuration and administration
• Business modeling techniques
• Good and proven team management and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Exposure to Life Insurance would be an added advantage.
Tata AIG Job Desired Profile :
Mentor team members in technical and functional areas, Responsible for all phases of SDLC, Ensure quality of deliverables and adherence to quality processes, Responsible for support of Production issues & adhoc reports as per SLA, Project Management.
Experience of extensive data architecture, database development and administration experience in full SDLC, designing and building relational databases in OLTP, OLAP, DSS, client/server, data warehouse and multi-tier web based projects.
