Job Profile for the Aditya Birla Management Corporation Job:
-Accounting controls & MIS:
1. Preparing vouchers for receipts of
payments and other transactions.
2. Bank Reconciliation.
3. Submission of monthly financials.
- Taxation Compliances:
a) Income Tax
1. Deducting TDS, making payment, filing TDS returns and issuing TDS certificates.
2. Income tax return filing and preparing details for assessment.
3. Obtaining certificate from Tax Department for non deduction of TDS on interest / rental income.
b) Service Tax / VAT
1. Comply with TDS provisions under Value Added Tax.
2. Wherever applicable, ensure compliance under service tax laws.
- Compliance under Companies Act / Charity Trust Act:
1. File audited annual accounts with ROC / Charity Commissioner.
2. File Annual Return with ROC.
3. Comply with all other requirements under Charity Trust Act & Companies Act.
-Fixed Assets Monitoring:
1. Fixed assets accounting.
2. Physical verification of assets & maintaining Fixed Assets Register.
- Monitoring of Investment:
1. Compile information for investment of surplus finds.
2. Maintain investment register.
3. Track receipt of interest on the due dates.
4. Promptly invest surplus funds.
