National Defence Academy / NDA Exam And Naval Academy Examination(I), 2010.
The Union Public Service Commission / UPSC ( www.upsc.gov.in ) will hold the National Defence Academy / NDA and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2010 on 18th April, 2010 for Admission to Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of NDA for 125th Course and Naval Academy for 45th 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course commencing from 30th December, 2010.
2. Conditions Of Eligibility for National Defence Academy / NDA Exam And Naval Academy Examination 2010:
(a) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status for National Defence Academy / NDA And Naval Academy Examination:
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1992 and not later than 1st July, 1994 are eligible.
(b) Educational Qualifications National Defence Academy / NDA And Naval Academy Examination:
(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:- 12th Class pass of 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy NDA and for 10+2 (Executive Brach) Course of Naval Academy:- 12th Class of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in 12th Class under 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this Examination.
(c) Physical Standards for National Defence Academy / NDA And Naval Academy Examination:
Candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy NDA Exam and Naval Academy Examination(I), 2009 as given in Appendix-V of Commission’s Notice for the NDA Examination.

3. Application Form for National Defence Academy / NDA Exam And Naval Academy Examination
The Candidates appearing for National Defence Academy / NDA And Naval Academy Examination must apply in the Common Application Form for NDA Exam devised by the Commission / UPSC for its examination which an be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post Offices (More NDA Exam and designated post office information is also available on www.upsc.gov.in.) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs.20/- (Rupees twenty only). Each such Form can be used only one and only for one examination.

4. Fee for National Defence Academy / NDA Exam And Naval Academy Examination
Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST candidates are exempted form payment of Fee. (OBC candidates are required to pay full fee).
5. Address And Last Date for Receipt Of Applications for National Defence Academy / NDA Exam And Naval Academy Examination
All applications must reach the “Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi 110069″ either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 16th November, 2009.
However, in respect of candidates residing abroad or in certain remote localities specified in the Notice the last date for receipt of applications by Post/Speed Post only (not by Hand or by Courier) is
23rd November, 2009.
