The Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC) was amongst the first to receive an ‘in principle’ approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to set up a bank in the private sector, as part of the RBI’s liberalisation of the Indian Banking Industry in 1994. The bank was incorporated in August 1994 in the name of ‘HDFC Bank Limited’, with its registered office in Mumbai, India. HDFC Bank commenced operations as a Scheduled Commercial Bank in January 1995.
Job Profile for the HDFC Bank Job :
Responsibilities
Review and testing of entity level controls.
Review of Process flow & Risk Control Matrix for processes mapped against trial balance.
Review of walkthroughs performed by process owners.
Identification and reporting documentation and design deficiencies to senior management.
Coordination with Internal Audit/External Audit & process owner for resolution of deficiencies arising out of SOX testing.
Requirements
Candidate must be Chartered Accountant
At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
Good in analyzing processes
Should be able to identify risks inherent in processes
Should be able to ask the right questions and probe the process owners effectively
Good audit skills.
Good communication skills
Must be conversant with MS Office especially Excel and Powerpoint.
