IIM Common Admission Test (CAT) Online registration problems are being resolved. Students will now have a chance to edit their IIM CAT Online registration forms as many times as they wish to within the window period and then submit.The date after which IIM CAT Online registration forms can be edited will be put up on the CAT website www.catiim.in soon.
It was quite a chaos when IIM CAT Online registration forms submitted with simpler mistakes like spelling errors and wrong marks could not be undone. Thus, aspirants had to buy a new IIM CAT voucher worth Rs 1,400 if they wanted to edit the form. Now students need not panic. In face students were relieved after they saw the update on the IIM CAT website www.catiim.in .
This is the very first year of IIM online exams for CAT and the IIM CAT exam will be conducted in two sessions for 10 days from November 28 in centres across the country.
Examination centres for IIM CAT Exam :
Mumbai has five centres for IIM CAT Exam, Navi Mumbai has six centres for IIM CAT Exam and Delhi has seven centres for IIM CAT Exam, Ghaziabad has six centres for IIM CAT Exam and Greater Noida has four centres for IIM CAT Exam.
The Process for IIM CAT Exam
-Registration window open till Oct 1.
-Exams will be Conducted between November 28 and December 7 in two sessions.
-Mumbai has five centres.
-In 2008, 25,000 candidates appeared for CAT from Mumbai
