As a Team Lead in the Finance Center of Excellence, you will be challenged to develop innovative new solutions to streamline and automate existing processes, effectively deliver on key team goals and deliverables; and manage demands from multiple clients under tight deadlines. This will include:
Profile Overview -
As part of the RFS IT Finance organization, the candidate would be responsible for understanding of a Hyperion Essbase cube used for Retail-wide headcount reporting. This involves understanding the cube design and major data elements; understanding new reporting requirements and determining optimal ways to enhance the Essbase reporting solution to respond to those requirements; and production of reports from the cube.
The candidate would also be substantially involved with financial reporting for the Retail sub-lines of business. This involves constant interaction with senior Finance Directors and CFOs on an ongoing basis - understanding changes in their business reporting requirements and responding by making improvements to the monthly reporting suite (including a reporting deck consisting of a wide range of financial, headcount, allocations and analysis reports).
Qualifications -
Core Competencies (Must have) -
Demonstrated experience in Hyperion Essbase administration and design.
Understanding of Hyperion Essbase database concepts.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, including various types of lookup functions, statistical, logical and operative functions.
Strong written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively to multiple stakeholders in various locations globally.
Solid understanding of financial concepts; especially key components of Profit and Loss statement including expense types, key drivers and their impact on business.
Ability to deliver/extract/report/analyze high quality data in time crunched circumstances.
Self initiator / learner, good team player with an ability to take judgmental call at times independently. Good attention to detail.
Familiarity with Business Objects and Microsoft Access a strong plus.
Following required:
Post Graduates with 3 years of working experience, primarily in Management Reporting.
Strong understanding of Hyperion Essbase version 7.1.6.
Intermediate understanding of Business Objects tool.
Good Excel skills (i.e. data manipulation, macros, vlookups, array formulas, pivot tables). Knowledge of Microsoft Access an added advantage.
Ability to properly handle sensitive HR-related data, and keep such information confidential
Self starter; able to prioritize key tasks effectively
