Qualified / Final Year Engineering Students for 77th Aeronautical Engineers Course (AEC) Permanent Commission for Men
49th Short Service Commission Course (SSC) for Men and Women - Course commencing July 2010
Last Date of receipt of Application: 31st August 2009.

Qualificatons :
Age - 18 to 28 years as on 01 July 2010. Born between 02 July 1982 and 01 July 1992.
Indian Air Force Aeronautical Engineers Course AEC (Electronics): BE/B.Tech. in Electronics/ Telecomm/ Electrical/ Electrical Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science & Engineering or a combination of these subjects. OR Diploma in Electornics of Madras Institute of Technology OR B.Tech. in Radio Physics and Electroncis/ Optics and Opto Electronics OR M.Sc.Degree in Physics (with Electronics) / Electronics/ Computer Science/ Computer application / MCA with Maths. Physics and Electronics and Radio Engineering with 60% & above.
For Indian Air Force Aeronautical Engineers Course AEC (Mechanical) : B.E./ B.Tech. in Aeronautical/ Mechanical / Production/ Industrial Production or a combination of these subjects.

If you meet these requirements, apply on plain A4 size paper (typed or handwriten) in English in the prescribed format and post the application by ordinary post to the address as per 1st choice of center for written examination. ie, Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). Selection Procedure for Indian Air Force
Eligible candidates will be called for EKT which will be conducted at the centers mentioned above on 25th October 2009.
List of shortlisted candidates on EKT results will be displayed on http://careerairforce.nic.in.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for personality test at one of the Indian Air Force Selection Boards Dehradun, Varanasi or Mysore.
