Experience Required(Description) : Resource should have decent undeerstanding on as400 and Lifeasia. And got to have decent communication skills as he/she needs to be interfacing customer directly.
1. The Server Engineer will have to provide day-to-day technical support and administration of the technology infrastructure.
2. The primary responsibilities of Server engineer will be Install, confi gure, and troubleshoot Server systems.
3. Provide first tier response, analysis and resolution planning for detected issues and seeks appropriate resolution of issues.
4. Play a key role in system u ptime and disaster recovery initiatives.
5. Problem management and issue resolution for server, desktop and laptop issues.
6. Conducting timely and effective root cause analysis.
7. Provisioning, installation, oversight, administration and daily maintenance of all cross-platform servers to include; Intranet/Internet web servers, Database servers, monitoring servers, proprietary application ser vers, file and print servers etc and others to maximize availability and address issues related to.
8. Disaster Recovery / High Availability
9. Physical and Logical Security
10. Backup / Integrity and recoverability
11. Patch and security configuration compliance (includes virus detection for server and client)
