Pakistan T20 Cricket Team won the 2009 T20 World Cup at Lords by beating Sri Lanka. Pakistan won the T20 World Cup by 8 wickets with more than an over to spare. Shahid Afridi scored 54 and Malik 24 to take Pakistan to their World Cup T20 title.

Pakistan were runners up in the last T20 World Cup and won the 2009 T 20 World Cup.
