Our Reason
Pehchaan is an initiative at rediscovering and connecting women from all walks of life, to share talents and thoughts and develop a meaningful social environment.
A woman is the nucleus of her family and society at large. Besides a woman possesses inherent qualities of creativity and care, thus many happy and content women radiate positive energy in society.
Our Programme
Pehchaan hosts a programme monthly, preferably on the 15th of the month between 4pm to 6 pm.
Our two hour session is divided into time slots for

- An awareness talk
- A sharing of a skill
- An Interactive Game -Hansee Maazak
- Party with a Purpose
Besides we have 4 tables for display and sale for women entrepreneurs to be able to reach potential clients.
Our Launch
14.5.2009 was the day Pehchaan was launched, at the Air Conditioned hall of SAISA, 21st/33rd Road, Bandra West, Mumbai 400050.
We had 210 ladies in attendance, and the programme was graced by The Golden Girl of the Golden Era Film Personality Smt. Waheeda Rehman, along with Smt. Sarita Sethi the TV news reader whose crisp and clear voice gave a new dimension to news and media on the small screen and Dr. Neeta Yuvraj CEO of International Academy of Life, chairperson of the California Hypnosis Institute and Founder of Academy of Life.
After the solemn Lighting of the Lamp, Dr, Neeta Yuvraj took the audience from illusion to illumination on her Awareness talk on the Brian as our emotional control centre. After which in our slot of Share a Skill, talented ladies Harsha and Mamta taught the ladies some exotic Summer Coolers and the recipes of 6 refreshing drinks were handed over to all present. Smt.Sarita Sethi conducted a quiz on fruit and vegetables and Our Lady of the day Smt. Waheeda Rehman added Purpose to the Party by enlightening women to change the way they shop, by eliminating the use of plastic bags and indulging in a very do able act of Switching of the Electric mains of our Homes on Sunday between 7.30 pm and 8.00 pm.
Our Social Purpose Agenda
We at Pehchaan have decided to take the above two issues in our Party with purpose segment and as our social purpose Agenda, which, we shall follow through at our future programmes. We are in the process of devising a potent, functional and progressive manner for creating this awareness. We are aware that Governments around the world understand the severity of the problem , stringent enforceable laws have been made , but it is the ethical way that we live that bring about a better world. Understanding this, we at Pehchaan Under ‘Pehchaan Lo ‘ wish to take this further.

Our Spectrum
Women are wonderful navigators through the stages of the spectrum of life. We at Pehchaan want to empower these great navigators to steer through life’s great opportunities, and allow them to explore subjects far beyond their walls at home or in their office space.
Our subjects will include , optimism, self doubt ,self confidence, Challenges , attitudes, happiness , wealth , wisdom , money , beauty , health , diet , nutrition , fashion , fitness , food and entertaining , design , homecare , home design , jewellery , childcare, and trends.
We are sure are sessions will invoke in each woman a desire to design their lives , enrich their homes and in turn create a society of humane beautiful humans .
We at Pehchaan welcome sponsors and associate sponsors, who can participate at each event and impart generously knowledge, gained out of product research and also assist them to reach potential product users on a far more intimate platform.
We are prepared to shape programme to suit product requirement in keeping with our designed pattern of event.
Our Reach
We are presently concentrating on the Bandra /Khar and Santa Cruz area, but have no boundaries set to take Pehchaan to woman all over this great metropolis. We are a team of sincere, dedicated, driven, motivating and resourceful ladies with a networking capacity that has indeed initiated Pehchaan.
