Ash snubs Sonam at Cannes!
Aishwarya is known little for her starry tantrums and news that she didn’t like the idea of sharing carpet space with Sonam Kapoor came as a rude shock. So, why did the leading lady and Mrs Bachchan decline the offer to be with Sonam? Was she threatened by Sonam’s rising popularity? Or was it that Sonam was trying to grab a huge chunk away of Ash’s pie? Sonam had huge expectations of the Cannes affair and was really waiting in the wings, so to say, to be seen at the extravagant event. But her dreams came crashing down and how! When are these stars going to learn some humility and the fact that reel life doesn’t really get you anywhere in real life unless you’re a good human being?
Everything about these stars is abnormal. Their expectations from life, their expectations from their producers and directors, their expectations from their relatives and families, all reek of abundant excesses. So, Sonam why don’t you get a crash course in reality? And Ash, how long are you going to hog the limelight? Both the beauties seem to be wanting the same things at the same time. Sonam, when are you going to stop basking in someone else’s glory? And Ash isn’t it lonely at the top? Why not get some company while you’re still in your prime?
That is a lot to expect from these petite dolls. When will these rising younger starlets stop grabbing their seniors’ successes? Ash probably thinks and rightly so that Sonam is nowhere in comparison to her. And Sonam, without having proved herself, is all set to grab the mantle carefully sown by Aishwarya. Girls, girls, girls! If you can’t keep your jealous selves out of the public domain, at least spare us your mindless conflicts with each other! Instead of confronting each other in public like that why don’t our pretty damsels in distress work on themselves and their jealous streaks? How long are we going to be subject to their imperfections and lousy aberrations of personality? Really, Ash and Sonam, we’re waiting patiently for you teenagers to grow up. Are you two going to remain 18 till you die???
