Top Ten Resolutions for the New Year !
Now that 2009 is here, it’s time to think about some of the things to be accomplished this year. A New Year’s Resolution is a commitment that an individual makes to a project or the reforming of a habit, often a lifestyle change. It’s that time of year again when many people resolve to improve their health, to organize themselves, their work, home or life in general.
Take a few moments to enumerate your top ten. It’s okay if the goals are simple. If ten seems too overwhelming, start with five or three, no big deal. Just remember, they’re your goals, not someone else’s. Stop envying others. Do what you need to do to make your life and your goals realistic. You have the power to stop biting off more than you can chew.
Here are my top 10 New Year’s Resolutions.
1)Spend more time with Family and friends. It’s my source of feeling good and happy.
2) Weight loss and Excise regularly to keep fit. This is my goal since last 15 years. It hasn’t change.
3)Enjoy Life More . Watch movies that I always wanted to, spend good time over coffee with friends and attend live music concerts, film festivals.
4)Learn something New. Yet to figure out what?
5) Have less “stuff” coming into my living space. Try to live a clutter free life.
6) A place for everything and everything in place. Organize my household stuff very well. Have a place for the bills, statements etc.
7)Say no to any hand-me-down material.
8)Get rid of everything that fit me 10 years ago because I have no vain imaginings that I will be that age again.
9)Simplify, simplify, simplify. I don’t need 5 serving bowls, 6 hair dryers, 7 household cleaners and 8 sets of sheets.
10)It’s my life - Stop inconveniencing myself with others’ agendas.
