Have you ever made your own Christmas Tree?
Christmas is around the corner and it’s high time to prepare for the Christmas festival. The most important is the Christmas tree and decorate the house. Markets are flooded with readymade Christmas decorations. Anybody rarely thinks of homemade decorations usually because they are not as neat as the readymade ones. But its fun to prepare your own decorations as it’s a good family bonding activity that brings everybody together. That’s exactly is the Christmas spirit.
Follow these simple steps and make your own Christmas tree.
Take three sticks and tie them up at the ends with a thin rope or jute fiber making one big triangle. For the bottom of the triangle use a thicker stick or bamboo and stick it to the bottom. Now, criss-cross the triangle with or jute fiber, or a string of beads, or some entire piece with gold, silver or green paint. You can even use multiple colours, including fluorescent ones. Lastly, stick little bobbles, dangles and other Christmas decorations on it.
As a slight variation to the one big triangle version, you can also make three such small triangles and stick them one over the other and follow the same decoration ideas.
Another idea is to take old Christmas cards or other greeting cards, cut off the motifs of Santa, candle, holly-leaves, bobbles, flowers, etc., stick them on thermocol or a thick cardboard and string them with a strong silver or gold string, running across all of them from behind. This can now be used on the Christmas tree. You can also intersperse the motifs by threading-in Christmas trinkets for special effect.
With very little ingredients, you can create decorations that are beautiful and above all, unique.
