Various events in Mumbai to mourn the dead and build strength for the future.

Each of us has different ways of asking questions. Some of us believe in Peace Marches, some believe we shouldn’t Vote, some of us want to light a candle. But all of this is for one cause. No matter what your belief, faith, questions, religion or region, come together to make yourself heard.

1) Make yourself heard.
On December 3rd at 6 p.m. at the Gateway of India in Mumbai, many voices will unite to ask the right questions.

2) Memorial Prayer Service at St. Xavier’s College - We invite you to a Memorial Prayer Service for all those who gave their lives in the recent Terrorist Attack on Mumbai.
Alumnus ACP ASHOK KAMTE of the 1985 batch - fondly remembered as a resident of our Hostel and active member of our student community.
DGP HEMANT KARKARE father of Political Science topper Ms. Sayalee - our recent alumna of the 2007 batch.
Mr. VIYAY BANJA - Chef at the Taj and husband of Ms. Farida, of our Xavier Resource Centre for the Visually Challenged (XRCVC).
We also remember all the other members of the Security Forces and those innocents who lost their lives in this attack.
ON THURSDAY 4th December at 5.30 PM in the College Hall.
All students, staff, alumni and well wishers are welcome to pay their respects to those who lost their lives in the recent violence and to show affection to the families.

To complete the planning for a human Chain on 10th December (see below) under the banner “Mumbai for Peace.” Any organisation or individual who would llike to participate is welcome at the meeting.
